introduction
i love media. i read a lot. i watch a lot of movies. i love T.V... I also need to critically engage with the media that I consume. my favourite pastime is explaining plots to my friends and co-workers (for those who feign interest, you do it well, thank you).
a few months ago I started a tiktok to review the books that i am reading in fear of not getting the chance to talk about all of them, but was left daunted by the monumental task of editing videos. it's a long process. if you haven't edited a video before it's hard to conceive it being all that difficult or time consuming. even professional editors underestimate the time they will need on any given project. it's a lot of work when all i want to do is talk.
so here i am. my intention here is to upload my thoughts. on what? anything, certainly. i'm going to need the freedom to do it as i wish, whether text or audio or even video (when i regain my patience). this place seems cozy. there's not much here now but i'll start filling it up soon. i'm looking forward to seeing what i can do.
